Here is a list of the 10 best EDM songs that I personally love and I'm sure you will too!

"One" by Swedish House Mafia Feat. Pharrell

What better way to start off this list of the best EDM songs than with a song titled "One"! I actually credit "One" by Swedish House Mafia and featuring Pharrell to be the first EDM song I ever fell in love with and it drove me to become such a big fan of the music genre. There was even a documentary made titled "Take One" that revolved around the creation of the song. The song was released in 2010 and became an instant hit in Europe where EDM was more popular at the time. If you love this song, listen to their other tracks "Miami 2 Ibiza," "Don't You Worry Child," "Greyhound," "Save the World," and "Antidote."

"Clarity" by Zedd

One of the more recent top EDM songs on the charts in the US right now is "Clarity" by Zedd, featuring Foxes. "Clarity" was the title track from Zedd's debut studio album in 2012 and was written by Zedd, Matthew Koma, Porter Robinson, and Skylar Grey. I especially love the lyrics of this song as it talks about being with someone you shouldn't be with and the feelings that surround that. I know I've felt that way before in my life before and I'm sure many of you have too! Also listen to Zedd's other single "Spectrum"!

"Beam Me up" by CAZZETTE

I actually really liked the video for this song. If you haven't seen it yet, it's about aliens who are hovering in spacecrafts over Earth, playing a song that makes everyone dance. The song is so catchy that when I first found it, I listened to it on repeat for an entire weekend! If you want a song that is going to amp you up and keep you dancing, make sure you listen to this track!

"Infinity 2008 (Klaas Remix)" by Guru Josh Project

Now let's go back in time a bit and remember "Infinity 2008" by Guru Josh Project. The song was actually originally released in 1989 but re-released again in 2008 as this more popular remixed version. It was an instant hit in Europe and its music video on YouTube even has over 72 million views! The song was even re-released again in 2012 as a remix but I still love the 2008 version best.

"Sandstorm" by Darude

"Sandstorm" is a song by Finnish trance producer and DJ Darude, released in 1999. On March 1, 2010, over ten years after its release, the song was certified Gold in the US by the Recording Industry Association of America for sales of over 500,000! This is definitely a classic when it comes to EDM songs and needed to be on this list. You may have heard it before but didn't know the name...well now you do!

"Calling (Lose My Mind)" by Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso

"Calling (Lose My Mind)" is a single created by Swedish house producers Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso, featuring American singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder. It was released in March of 2012 and was featured on Swedish House Mafia's newest CD "Until One." This may not be one of the most well-known EDM songs but it is definitely one of my personal favorites and thus why it had to be on this list!

"This Time (Klaas Remix)" by DJ Antoine

In 2006, DJ Antoine achieved his international breakthrough when he released his single “This Time.” It was later remixed by a few other DJs but my personal favorite version is the Klaas Remix. DJ Antoine also put out another song later on that I love called "Underneath." I'm not sure if the voice in the songs is him singing or someone else but the voice sounds gorgeous nonetheless!

"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk

"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" was a song created by French duo Daft Punk and was first released in October of 2001. This song, along with Daft Punk's "Technologic," are still some of the most unique songs I have come across to this day and I love them because of that. Their other popular song "One More Time" is also another favorite for many people and I'm sure you've heard it before!

"Ghosts N Stuff" by Deadmau5

Of course you knew Deadmau5 was bound to make an appearance on this list. The original version of "Ghosts 'n' Stuff" was made in 2004, but it was said to have ended up going through at least 10 revisions. It was eventually released in 2008 and in the United States it received exposure from use in TV shows such as America's Best Dance Crew and a ton of radio airplay. It's still my favorite Deadmau5 song even though it's his most popular.

"Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites" by Skrillex

Sorry to say I am not a huge Skrillex fan, however I do admit that I like this song. Plus we haven't had any dubstep on this list yet and I feel it's only right to include it! It was recorded in 2010 at his apartment using a laptop and released in the same year via digital download. It was Skrillex's second EP and became one of his biggest hits!

Obviously there is no way that I would be able to decipher which songs are actually the best EDM songs of all time. Thus, this list is just the songs that I personally deem to be some of the best. One of the main reasons I wrote this post is to see which EDM songs you think are the best so that I can add them to my playlist! What are your favorite EDM songs of all time?

i love dont you worry child by SHM yuss!

No bassnectar? Really? You don't listen to EDM... No ill gates? No datsik? No MK ultra? No mimossa no pretty lights???

Spectrum by Zedd and Levels by Avicii

@Nicole Goh rather than give specifics of songs, is recommend artists to look into, Above & Beyond, BT, Sub Focus, Mat Zo, Arty, Maor Levi, Ferry Corsten, Tydi, Eric Prydz, Nero, I mean I could go on and on. What I'm trying to say is, artists like Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta etc, are not a good representation of what talent is actually in dance music. :)

That Daft Punk HBFS Does not get old!
