7 Arabic Songs to Rock out to This Summer ...

If you've ever heard a song that you didn’t understand the lyrics to, but the beat just got you moving your butt back and forth, it might have been one of my favorite Arabic songs to rock out to. I've introduced my non-Arab friends to a lot of Arabic songs, and now they've added them to their iPods and they're ready for the summer. Here are 7 fun Arabic songs to rock out to this summer.

1. Ya Ayesh by Eslam

On iTunes at: itunes.apple.com
I’ll be the first to admit that the dancing in the video by Eslam, the handsome Egyptian singer, isn’t exactly something I’m proud of as an Arab. I’ll go a step further and say his dancing SUCKS! But this song is fun, sexy, and gets you moving, and it's one of my favorite Arabic songs to rock out to. It's a download MUST!

2. El Ghourby by Fares Karam

On iTunes at: itunes.apple.com
You cannot have an Arabic list on your mp3 device without having the notoriously sexy Fares Karam on it. This is one of his many "Get Up and Dance" songs.

3. Ghaly by Jad Choueiri

On iTunes at: itunes.apple.com
This song has to be at the top of the list of fun Arabic songs to rock out to this summer. It just gets you moving. Even if you don’t understand a word of it, you’ll be blasting this in your car with your girlfriends this summer. I might even catch you doing the ‘Wax On, Wax Off’ dance they perform in the video.

4. Mesheet Wara Ehsassi by Roubi

Listen/Download at: 6arabyon.com
Roubi is one of the sexiest and most talented contemporary Arab singers. She finds a way to intertwine traditional and modern Arabic music into one clash of amazingness (I’m aware I just made that word up). I can guarantee that this will be a song you will find yourself playing over and over.

From the empowering lyrics to the uplifting melodies, Switchfoot has a knack for creating music that speaks to the soul. Women from all walks of life should not miss to listen to these amazing Switchfoot hits that are sure to provide an inspiring soundtrack to their daily lives. Embrace your unique journey with Switchfoot's empowering tune playing in the background.

5. Ezzay Ansak by Haifa Wahbi

On iTunes at: itunes.apple.com
Haifa is known for her rather long, yet somewhat entertaining videos, and she takes Sexy Thief in all black to a whole other level with her bling costume (which I adore). The song is fun and although I’m not a huge fan of the Arab starlet, I have to admit that the song is rather catchy. Add it to your iPod and you'll love it, too.

6. Rayhin Ala Betna by Joseph Attieh

On iTunes at:itunes.apple.com
I would have added Joseph Attieh to this list even if he had the crappiest music in the world, because he’s so freaking hot! We’re fortunate that he’s not only a hunk, but has very good music. This is one of the fun Arabic songs to rock out to his summer.

7. Ghawy by Roubi

On iTunes at: 6arabyon.com
I have to add Roubi to the list yet again, because this is one of those songs that I’m still listening to today ... it's kind of old, but it’s that good. She definitely gets her booty moving and so will you. Try it, and I dare you not to dance!

I didn’t get close to listing all of the fun Arabic songs to rock out to this summer, so help me out! What Arabic songs are you rocking out to this summer? Please share with me!
