What is it about this song that makes it so sad? The lyrics are enough to make you cry, but then the guitar comes in and it’s just as heartbreaking. I don’t know about you, but before this song, I wasn’t aware that guitar could be heartbreaking. Leave it to Bob Dylan to pull that off.

3. Camouflage by Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez was almost exclusively known for her catchy dance songs that would always get stuck in your arm, which is why this song is especially stunning. If you’re going through a particularly hard breakup, this song will simultaneously break your heart and put it back together.

4. Landslide by Fleetwood Mac

I think Mindy Kaling said something like “If you can hear the words ‘I’ve been afraid of changing because I built my life around you’ without crying, you are a robot” and I wholeheartedly agree. The lyrics will absolutely break you, trust me.

Miley Cyrus’s song Stay is about missing someone so much that you don’t know what to do with yourself. If you’ve ever missed someone, you’ll relate to this song on a deeply personal level. The songs are surprisingly candid and raw from Miley, and her vocals may just leave you in tears.
