1. Adele’s 25
Adele’s long-awaited album is finally here. Well, almost. After recently releasing the first single from 25 and effectively breaking the Internet, she announced that her next album would be coming out on November 20th, and then she effectively broke the Internet again. Adele has made us wait so long for this album (she’s been very busy guys, so we forgive her) that she’s going to kill us all with her vocals when she finally releases it!
2. One Direction’s Made in the AM
This summer, when One Direction announced that they were going to be taking a hiatus after the release of their next album, Directioners (and most of the Internet) collectively lost their minds. This is the album that One Direction warned us of, so listen to it and enjoy the music of your favorite boys before their hiatus begins!
Frequently asked questions
3. Justin Bieber’s Purpose
Justin Bieber is on the other end of One Direction’s hiatus. He’s coming back from his own hiatus, and his new music is already getting everyone so excited. After a few released singles, he really got the party started when he released Sorry, his latest single, which is killing the charts and making everyone dance!
4. Ellie Goulding’s Delirium
It’s hard to believe that this is only Ellie Goulding’s third album! It seems like she’s been around forever, and that she’s had about a million hit singles, but yes, this is only her third album. If you love her vocals and die for her lyrics, this album is sure to impress you just as much as the last two have!
5. Troye Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood
If you aren’t listening to Troye Sivan, where have you been? You could know Troye from a multitude of different places. Maybe you know from his acting career, as Young Wolverine as the titular character in the South African movie Spud. Or maybe you’re like me and have been watching his YouTube channel for a few years. He’s always been a singer, and after a few EPs (his last EP, Wild, is still on repeat in my music library) he’s finally releasing his first full length album, and I’m sure that it won’t disappoint!
6. Alessia Cara’s Know-It-All
Doesn’t it seem like Alessia Cara really exploded this summer? She, like Troye Sivan, began her music career on YouTube, and like Sivan released an EP this summer but is taking that one step further with an album this fall. After making headlines all summer for her silky voice and impressive collaborations, it’s no surprise that this girl is finally getting her own full-length album@
7. Sara Bareilles’s What’s inside: Songs from Waitress
Does anyone else still have Love Song stuck in their heads from 2008? Yes, I know it’s been years, but I don’t think Love Song has ever left my head. She’s had a variety of great songs since then (my favorite? I Choose You- the acoustic version is fantastic) and her new musical (and this album) is sure to be just as big of a hit!
What are the albums you’re looking forward to this fall and winter? Let me know in the comments, because I can’t decide whose album I’m most excited for!
