1

ANYTHING is POSSIBLE by LEA MICHELE

This is a song that has gotten me through a lot of crap within the past six months. It’s about finding who you are and remembering that the sky is the limit, and that you can do anything you put your mind to.

2

Into the OCEAN by BLUE OCTOBER

This song has given me peace that it’s okay to feel like you’re drowning in life. It’s okay to swim along but not know where you are going or how to deal with the situation. You don’t always have to know the exact direction to take in your life. Also it’s okay to grieve in whatever way works for you.

3

PRAYING by KESHA

This song basically saved my life. It’s about finding your own peace while hoping that the people who hurt you find their peace as well. It helps to heal your mind and your body. This song in particular has helped me to move forward from what happened to me in the past.

4

RISE by SELENA GOMEZ

This song is about rising above anything difficult in your life and it just makes you feel really good. When we are going through a lot of stuff we feel overwhelmed and it helps to imagine your life as the air and that it’s not impossible to overcome the absolute worst.

5

MISS MOVIN on by FIFTH HARMONY

This song just gives you the power to walk away from someone who has hurt you and to take your life back. You are in charge of how you live and you don’t need anyone’s approval. It also reminds you that you are stronger because of what has happened to you and that is very empowering.

6

RECOVER by NATASHA BEDINGFIELD

This song has given me the hope that one day I will be able to recover as a whole, but for now it’s okay to hurt and to just take it one day at a time.

7

LET ME out by the VERONICAS

For whatever reason this song just helps me to have proper closure. It’s about asking someone to just let you out of the relationship and friendship and that you don’t need to be there if they’re only going to hurt you. It just gives me the strength to keep moving forward, and it’s a great reminder as to why this person isn’t needed in my life.

8

Save MYSELF by ED SHEERAN

This song has helped me to reconnect with who I am as an individual, and that I don’t always need to be the hero that saves the day. It’s okay to help others but it’s very important to not forget about yourself. Always help yourself when you really need it.

9

CLEAN by TAYLOR SWIFT

This song has helped me to move on and to just feel happy. Once you are rid of someone for a while you feel free and you can breathe again. You are no longer drowning in the sorrows of what that certain individual did to you. Now you can just live your life without ever having to look back. You are finally free from the chains that were holding you down.

10

GOODBYE by ECHOSMITH

This song is just simply saying the final goodbye. After you move forward saying goodbye is much easier. This song shows that one day you’ll be able to say goodbye without feeling any emotion at all. It’s bittersweet but you know that it’s for the best.
