You've probably heard her song, "Royals" countless times on the radio by now, yet, you still manage to jam out each time you hear it. That's the power of a good song; it sounds brand new each time you hear it. Sure, there are people who are tired of hearing it already, but they don't matter! This girl gets so much radio play because people are still requesting her music. That's just one of the reasons to love Lorde.

I mean, really. Lorde's hair is pretty epic. She has the most beautiful curls and she's not afraid to show them off. If you've watched her Royals music video, then you know firsthand how awesome those curls are. I definitely wish I had curly hair like her!

It's mind-blowing how much she's achieved in such a short amount of time. She's 17 years old, held the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100, and went home with two Grammys last month. That's definitely more than I can say for my accomplishments at 17. How about you?

Lorde is one of those performers that you just can't look away from. From start to finish, you're hooked on every word she's singing. I have a feeling that she'll be performing in stadiums very, very soon. Her US tours have sold out within hours of being on sale! That's crazy.

It seems like everyone who's anyone has been obsessed with Lorde. Pretty Little Liars' Ashley Benson gushed about Lorde's performance at the Pre-Grammys party and Vanessa Hudgens even said she'd recommend Lorde as a music suggestion for her friends, on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. When Lorde's album, Pure Heroine, dropped, celebs gave it rave reviews. Looks like Hollywood is already on Lorde's team.

I think it's really refreshing how Lorde uses her music to speak her mind. Her lyrics include things like, "don't you think that it's boring how people talk?", and "we crave a different kind of buzz." Her lyrics are really mature. Who's even that self-aware at age 17? Only Lorde.

Another refreshing thing about Lorde is how talented she actually is. She writes her own music, and works so incredibly hard on perfecting her craft. I also love that Lorde doesn't feel the need to be half naked in her music videos. Her music alone grabs our attention and that's all she needs.
