5. God save the Queen by the Sex Pistols

The Sex Pistols caused a stir with their own titled version of the British National Anthem.

This timeless punk hit took a swipe at the monarchy and everybody who supported the Royal Family.

Released to coincide with the Queen’s Silver Jubilee in 1077, the track was banned by many radio and TV stations, giving even further mystique and reputation to the highly-controversial band.
