Lately, I’ve been compiling a mental list of the best songs to start your morning with. It’s so nice to be able wake up to something that puts a smile on your face, especially when it’s one of those crazy cold mornings and you just don’t want to get out of bed! Pharrell –Happy
My boyfriend loves this song, and he’d agree with me that it’s one of the best songs to start your morning with. It has wonderful beats, an old school tone and feel to it that make you nostalgic yet feel perfectly modern, plus the title of this song is ‘Happy.’ It honestly doesn’t get much better than that.

Bastille – Pompeii
This song has that fantastic, ready to take on the world feel. It’s like you get up, you’re ready, and you’re going to march your ass into work or school and conquer it! Having a tune to make you feel empowered hands down makes this one of the best songs to start your morning with.

This song is super zen, and I’m not sure about you, but when I wake up I like to be eased into the world outside my warm comfy bed. This is one of the best songs to start the day with because it’s so mellow and tranquil, yet catchy at the same time. It’ll put a little beat in to your step, slowly but surely, all the way to the bathroom.

I first heard this song when it came on Grey’s Anatomy, and I instantly fell in love with it. This has to be one of the best songs to start your morning to because it reminds me of a fantastically warm summer day. What better way to wake up, than by feeling like you’re waking up in the middle of the beach?

Bruno Mars has this ingenious way of making you feel happy. At least that’s the situation for me! I think the best songs to wake up to are the ones that lift your spirit and get you excited to start the day. I can belt my heart out to this song anytime! Even in the morning!

First off, what can be more upbeat than a song that has the title of ‘Anything Could Happen’? It reminds us that the day is a blank slate, and we can do anything, and that is an incredible feeling, no?
